Alard to launch Law course with Harvard Law School’s ex-Asst. Director

Heather Wallick – formerly Assistant Director (Admissions and Financial Aid for the Graduate Program), Harvard Law School, USA – presently, CEO Wallick Global Consulting, visited Alard Group campus in Hinjewadi, Pune to tie-up for starting a law college at Alard.

Alard Group of Institutes invited Heather Wallick to visit the Alard campus in Pune. Heather Wallick is the CEO of a consulting firm called ‘Wallick Global Consulting’. She was the Assistant Director (Admissions and Financial Aid for the Graduate Program) at Harvard Law School, USA.

Located in the picturesque outskirts of a bustling Pune city, in the western Indian state of Maharashtra, the Alard campus is present in the heart of the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park in Hinjewadi, which is a part of Pimri-Chinchwad area. A walk in the sprawling campus shows a landscape view of office buildings of the who’s who of global IT giants. And Ms. Heather Wallick was given a tour of the campus, flanked by the entire college management.

The Alard management wishes to draw from the synergy between Ms. Heather Wallick’s experience at a senior management position at the esteemed Harvard Law School, and the intent of Alard Group of Institutes to add a Law College to its bouquet of academic offerings.

Ms. Wallick not just took a tour of the campus, but also interacted with students and staff of the college. After a round of informal interactions with faculty and students at Alard campus, she conducted a session explaining USA’s education structure.

The students were quite keen to hear about what Ms. Wallick had to say about education opportunities in USA, and get clarity on how to avail those opportunities. After an extensive and interactive session with the students, Ms. Wallick had a detailed discussion with the college management about the plan of introducing law as a new discipline at Alard Group of Institutes and establishing a law college at Alard.

The management extended their gratitude to Ms. Heather Wallick for taking time out and visiting Alard campus in Pune, and sharing her insights regarding academic management, especially in the discipline of legal studies, from her rich experience of working as a senior authority at the best law school in the world.
