Event: Vigilance Week – for a corruption free India

Alard furnished opportunities through a range of activities. The first notable event of 2018 was “Vigilance Week” in the first week of January; with the theme of corruption free India, under the tagline – 365 days, 365 opportunities.

The purpose of observing Vigilance Awareness Week is to educate the public at large about corruption related practices, and also to educate them how to report it. It acts like a mass movement of involving people in saying “NO” to corruption.

AIMS observed the Vigilance Awareness Week by commencing the Integrity Pledge by staff members, students and management. The student took the pledge of “I won’t get tempted by any type of bribe to perform daily tasks.”

Vigilance week

I won’t get tempted by any type of bribe to do the daily tasks. I always focus to bring transparency in all kind of transactions for making healthy India. I won’t be a mute observer of such things, if any unethical practice is happening around me in the society, I will report it in time.

The pledge also included, “I always focus to bring transparency in all kind of transactions for making healthy India. I won’t be a mute observer of such things, if any unethical practice is happening around me in the society, I will report it in time.”
