COURSES OFFERED

Eligibility :

For Admission to First Year B.E.

• The candidate should be an Indian National
• candidate should have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (Std.XII) examination of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Pune or equivalent examination with English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics as the subjects with not less than 50 percent marks(150 out of 300) for open category in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics taken together (Maximum of marks obtained in Biology/ Mathematics shall be considered for the purpose of addition.) at the same sitting or any other equivalent qualification accepted by the University.(45 percent marks i.e. 135 out of 300 in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics taken together at the same sifting for Backward class candidates)
• Should obtain non zero positive scores in JEE or the candidate should have appeared in the entire subject in CET and should obtain non Zero Score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive scores in JEE over the candidates who obtained non zero scores in CET

Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry)

• The Candidate should be an Indian National.
• Candidate should have passed the Diploma course in First Class from any approved Diploma Institutes as per DTE admission rules.
• Any other criterion declared by appropriate authority from time to time.

Eligibility for ME Admissions

• The candidate should be an Indian National;
• The candidate who has passed the examination for the degree of B.E of Savtribai Phule Pune University or any other statutory University, recognized as equivalent there by this university, with at least 50% marks for Open category and 45% for the reserved category will be eligible for the admission.
• The candidate must appear and qualify GATE examination conducted by Competent Authority
• Any other criterion declared by appropriate authority from time to time.

The rules & regulations as laid down by Govt. of Maharastra, AICTE, PCI & Directorate of Technical Education from time to time, shall be applicable and binding to the candidate.
